“Whispers of Resilience: Masaka’s December 1st”

In the heart of Greater Masaka, December 1st is not just a date on the calendar; it is a sacred day etched in the collective memory of its people. The air is heavy with the weight of history, carrying the whispers of an epidemic that changed the course of countless lives in the 80s and 90s. This poignant tale begins with sorrow but evolves into a celebration of resilience.

As the sun sets over Masaka Region, PAPIRUDEI takes centre stage and is a beacon of hope, navigating the communities with a mission that transcends time. The organisation born out of the necessity to combat stigma and reduce HIV prevalence within the region, has become the heartbeat of the community.

Let’s unite in the fight against HIV/AIDS. Together, we can break the stigma, raise awareness, and show support for those affected.

Let us work towards an AIDS-FREE Community.
