Rooted in community.
Built for lasting change.
PAPIRUDEI — the Padre Pio Rural Development Initiative — was established from a belief that rural communities deserve the same opportunities for health, education and human development available elsewhere. From Greater Masaka, we work across healthcare, education, clean water, digital inclusion and livelihoods.

Padre Pio Rural Development Initiative — a local organisation working alongside rural communities.

A community initiative.
A shared purpose.
Established in 2010, PAPIRUDEI began as a volunteer group formed by concerned local community members. In 2018, it was registered as an NGO with the Ugandan National NGO Board.
Situated at Lusaka-Lwankoni in Kyotera District, we operate in various districts of the Catholic Diocese of Masaka, working with local and international partners to reach rural communities.
